Navigating the Maze of New Materials and Technologies: Keys to Predictable & Aesthetic Outcomes

User Ratings -

Course Description

Description:

The aim of Prosthodontic rehabilitation is to provide the patient with functional and aesthetic restorations. New materials and technologies are continually being developed and introduced into the marketplace. The general practitioner is often faced with the difficult task of deciphering between available products and treatment workflows.

Navigating through the maze of materials can be quite daunting. Understanding when and how to use different ceramics and recognizing appropriate bonding or cementation techniques is critical in achieving successful outcomes.

The aim of this presentation is to help navigate through the choices.

Course Objectives:

·         Key insights in achieving predictable and aesthetic restorations will be outlined.

·         Discuss the required interdisciplinary communication between the dentist, specialist and laboratory technician.

·         Numerous clinical examples in which the techniques described will be demonstrated.
