Dr. Izchak Barzilay received his DDS from the University of Toronto in 1983, a Certificate in Prosthodontics from the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY in 1986, and a MS from the University of Rochester in 1991. He is currently Head of the Division of Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Ont.; Adjunct Professor, Division of Prosthodontics of the Eastman Department of Dentistry, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY; Professor, George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology, Toronto, ON; Associate in Dentistry, University of Toronto, Toronto, Ont.; Chief Examiner in Prosthodontics – Royal College of Dentists of Canada; Past - President of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada: Past President - Ontario Study Club for Osseointegration.; Advisory Board - International Society for Digital Dentistry; Medical Advisory Board Member – Sjogren’s Society of Canada; Publication reviewer for Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, and is in private practice limited to prosthodontics and implant dentistry in Toronto, Ont. He has published on various topics including immediate implants, bonding plastics to various metals and other material and implant related topics. Dr. Barzilay hold many fellowships in prestigious organizations and has been awarded multiple awards for his research and teaching accomplishments.
Mr. Brisebois has over 8 years experience in the dental industry. Most recently, Mr. Brisebois was Henry Schein’s E4D Specialist for the Ontario and Manitoba markets. Mr. Brisebois joined Henry Schein in November 2007 as an equipment specialist and immediately became the E4D Specialist upon the world launch of the product in January 2008. He is one of the first 15 people in the world trained as a specialist of this product and was instrumental in its launch to the Canadian market and Henry Schein’s Canadian sales force. Mr. Brisebois’ duties at Henry Schein included creating sales programs for local dentists, laboratories and dental Universities; and clinically training both the dental and software procedures required to scan, design and mill highly esthetic restorations using E4D CAD/CAM. Prior to working for Henry Schein, Mr. Brisebois worked for Patterson Dental as a territory rep. His focus as a dental rep has always been digital technology both in radiology and in CAD/CAM. Having graduated in 1997, he has a degree in Economics and Business from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo.
Dr. Ho currently holds a private practice with Credit Valley Oral Surgery in the greater Toronto area. He is the cofounder of MAXFACS imaging, specializing in the creation of a ‘virtual patient’, by optimizing and merging digital imaging files. From this virtual patient, the implant, orthognathic, orthodontic and prosthetic treatment planning are mutually integrated to capture both the patients’ aesthetic facial soft tissue as well as the airway. For clinicians who don’t want to make a software investment, MAXFACS can assist in the digital treatment planning process.
