Course Description

Achieving an acceptable treatment outcome in implant dentistry no longer depends on simply achieving osseointegration.  Clinical success demands an aesthetically pleasing treatment outcome, which includes maintenance of a balance between the pink and the white components of the dentogingival complex. The challenge that clinicians confront involves creating an ideal hard and soft tissue frame work with implant restorations.  Published literature provides today’s clinician with valuable information on treatment planning considerations, as well as surgical and restorative techniques. Synthesizing this information and understanding the treatment elements and outcome of treatment can be an intimidating task.

Dr. Baig’s lecture will provide:

  1. Guidelines for aesthetic analysis.,
  2. Anatomical, surgical and restorative treatment planning considerations in aesthetic zone.
  3. Potential causes of aesthetic implant failures in the aesthetic zone using an evidence-based approach and case based presentations that illustrate all concepts described in the presentation.
