Description:
Socket preservation procedures after tooth extraction maximizes the bone volume available for planning and future implant placement. In this course, we will discuss the regenerative materials and techniques involved in socket preservation.
Course Objectives:
- Review the relevant grafting materials and their indications for use.
- Review the proper case and material selection.
- Review socket preservation technique.

D.D.S., M.Sc. (Perio), F.R.C.D.(C), ABP Dip.
Dr. Bahrami completed her Periodontology Specialty Training at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto in 2012.
She is a board-certified periodontist both in Canada and US. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) as well as Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the International Congress of Implantologists.
Dr. Bahrami is part time Clinical Instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.
