Treatment Planning Principles for Full Mouth Reconstruction: Implants and/or Teeth

User Ratings -

Course Description

3 CE Credits

Online Lecture

Description:

A number of patients present with terminal non-restorable dentition that will require full arch/mouth rehabilitation in due time. When given a choice, most patients would request a fixed tooth replacement option to simulate the natural dentition.

In some situations, the rehabilitation is fully implant supported or sometimes it’s a combination rehab with implants and natural teeth.

With the combination of implants and teeth, treatment execution could be quiet challenging, the new advances in technology and understanding of the new concepts in treatment planning, patient management, treatment plan presentation, patient management, lab communication and providing treatments that are highly esthetic and functional have been very instrumental in providing the best care to meet our patient’s needs.

Course Objectives:

  1. Full arch rehabilitated implants only vs implants and teeth: Treatment planning principles.
  2. Management of VDO and complete pre-prosthetic comprehensive assessment.
  3. Treatment planning variables and their impact on treatment outcome.
  4. Pre-planning, patient, and lab communication.
  5. Treatment sequencing with multidisciplinary approach.
  6. Step by step approach in the complete treatment process.
  7. Multiple case scenarios and treatment outcomes with long-term maintenance and follow up strategies.
