Dr. Evelyn Lock earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University, and she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Lock completed a 6 month clinical internship at the South Riverdale Community Health Centre in Toronto. She pursued further studies by completing the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University.
Dr. Lock has continued her education as a certified Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) practitioner, Neurokinetic Therapist, Registered Kinesiologist, Technical & Clinical Low Intensity Laser Therapist, and GRASTON Techniques Practitioner. She has also completed the following certifications from National University of Health Sciences: Lower Quadrant Functional Assessment & Treatment, Cervical & Thoracic Spine Analysis and Adjustive Technique, and Lumbar Spine & Pelvis Analysis and Adjustive Technique.
She currently practices at her own downtown Toronto office, and at Sports Specialist Rehab Centre in North York. Dr. Lock has a profound interest in movement-focused motor control, rehabilitation and biomechanics. She frequently works with individual athletes, and at sporting events, and has been on CrossFit Games, Ontario Taekwondo, and Ontario Arm Wrestling Association Medical Teams.
